A photo shoot...

My little family indulged me in a photo shoot while picnicing at the park.

It was a gorgeous weekend in Scottsdale...the winters here somewhat make up for the summer heat.

Three of my favorite boys!  I am so lucky to have found great friends with children similar ages - we Moms had a 'meeting' over coffee while the boys played (and napped).  What a treat to focus on just the babies while the bigger kids were at preschool.

A visitor

Grandma came for a visit, and also to de-thaw from the cold Kansas weather. 

We had a pretty relaxing week, just doing our normal Arizona winter things.

William had a great time snuggling with both Daddy and Grandma.

so cousin Kristen invited us all over for lunch.
We had a great time catching up with family and seeing Kristen's beautiful new house!

Weight - 16 lb, 10 oz. 34 percentile

Length - 27 1/ inches. 86 percentile

Head - 43 1/2 cm, 45 percentile

~Seriously?  Six months already?  Break my heart, my baby is growing too fast. 

~You are one of the happiest babies I've even seen.  You are quick to smile and laugh at us all day long.  Even when upset or hungry, one goofy grin from us and your attitude turns right around.

~You are up on your hands and knees rocking.  We think you will be crawling any day now.  I'm not quite ready for a moving baby yet, so feel free to hold off a few more weeks.

~You can sit up with assistance - either in your Bumbo chair, Boppy or bathtub. 

~You love to play with toys.  Rattles, stuffed animals, etc.  You also still love your exersaucer.

~You are one good eater.  Your favorite combination right now is either avocado/bananas or pumpkin/bananas.  Yummy!

~You continue to be quite the mama's boy.  While you will entertain yourself playing or watching your sister, you definitely prefer to be in my arms.  And I love it too...I know in just a short while you will be 'too cool' to cuddle with me, so I am taking advantage as much as possible.

~We love you more than words, William Tommy, and are so thankful for you each and every day.

Happenings...

Nanny came to visit while Daddy was out of town.
These two have so much fun together.
We loved having her visit and, as always, wish we lived closer to our family!

William was thrilled to spend time with Nanny as well!

Lily got a much needed haircut.
We trimmed 2-3 inches off the back, but very little off the front.
Business in the front, party in the back. :)

After picking Lily up from school while William was at home, I accidentally put her into William's carseat.
She thought it was hilarious.  I am officially losing my mind.
And before you think I forgot to dress her, it was actually PJ day at school!

Our neighbors saguaro fell down after a long weekend of rain.

It was rotten on the bottom and I guess the saturated ground couldn't hold it upwards.

Mommy went back to work a couple days a week during audit season.
William has a new nanny and seems to love her!
