23/24 weeks

A few fun thoughts:
~I'm officially into maternity clothes.  While they are still a bit big, my regular clothes are way too tight!  It's not a pretty sight when I try to squeeze into them.
~When I was this far along with Lily, I had picked out every detail for her nursery and had lots of baby clothes ready for her arrival.  This time, I am so behind and not really worried about it.  Babies don't need as much as we are led to believe, huh?
~ At my 24 week appointment, heartbeat was in the 140's and I'm measuring right on schedule at 24 cm. 
~We are close to transitioning Lily to a big girl bed.  She is almost three and has never tried to climb out of her crib, so we have been lazy moving her.  But the time is getting close...any advice?

We keep joking that we take on huge house projects whenever we are expecting.  

Maybe we should stop at two babies for sanity sake! :)

Happy Easter

In order to avoid the crazy crowds, we went to sunrise service at 6:30am.

After a yummy breakfast, we came home and found that a special bunny had made a visit!

We had a brief egg hunt in the backyard...

...girlfriend knows all about getting to the candy as quickly as possible

In the middle of the chaos, we had to stop and take an important phone call.

"Hi Nanny!  I got this, and this, and this, and this..."

Easter Egg Hunt #2

Another fun Easter Egg Hunt...this time at Lily's school.

The kiddos enjoy a few crafts, a special message, and then the hunt began!

21 weeks

Belly shot as requested by Nanny and Auntie M.

A few fun stats:

~At my 21 week appointment, heartbeat was in the 150s and Mom was measuring exactly at 21 weeks.

~Little guy was extremely squirmy again.  He is definitely a mover and a shaker - my favorite part of pregnancy is feeling those kicks and summersaults.

~At our 19 week sonogram, he weighed 12oz (Lily was 11oz at her 20 week sonogram).  I am blaming that extra ounce on feeling much bigger this pregnancy. :)

~When told the baby was a brother, Lily whined a bit and said she 'really really wanted a sister.' She is starting to warm up to the idea of a boy.  She insists we name him "George".

It was a win-win morning for each of us!
